Dr. Bhagya Lakshmi Balaji

Bhagya is the Director of Program Operations at Room to Read India. She leads and supports the strategic and tactical implementation of Room to Read's various programs across the country. Since joining Room to Read in 2022, Bhagya has played a crucial role in building the implementation technicalities of the Literacy Program as the Associate Director of Literacy Program.

She has over 15 years of extensive experience in program design and implementation, operations management, monitoring and evaluation, budget management, donor relations and policy advocacy in non-profit sector. She combines her background in educational management and administration with her skills in classroom practice, curriculum development, content creation, and teacher professional development to spearhead impactful and sustainable educational initiatives.
